MY pie crust


1  1/2 c Flour
2 sticks butter, chilled, cut up
1 tsp salt
1 c. shredded white cheddar or parmesan
1/8-1/4 c water OR (optional) add juices from apple pie

Add to food processor. You want it to be DRY and CRUMBLY, not wet. When it pulls together, stop. Wrap in saran wrap & chill until ready to use.

Fill with apple Pie recipe, brush edges with egg white wash, when you pull out of the oven, brush with warmed apricot jam.
