My Rum Apple Pie
10-12 Apples (I like Jazz Apples or Green Apples)
^^ slice 9, and puree 3
1/4 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup Butter
1 c. brown sugar
cinnamon, clove, nutmeg taste
2 TBS rum
1 tsp corn starch
Toss apples in lemon juice and spices and pour into pie crust..
bring to boil: Rum, butter and brown sugar. Add to bowl with pureed apples. Stir in 1 tsp cornstarch.
Pour on top of apples in pie crust and bake 425* for 15 min. Then reduce to 350* 45-40min.
