My Waffle Cone Recipe


1 whole egg + 1 egg white
2 TBS Butter, softened
2/3 c. Flour
1/2 c. Sugar
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/4 tsp Salt

Makes 6 waffle cones  131 Calories Ea.

Preheat Waffle Cone Maker & set at 5 1/2. Beat egg & egg white, add the rest of the ingredients & mix well.  Pour a rounded TBS. of batter in the center of your waffle cone maker, lower lid & lock until golden brown.  They are more crisp at golden brown, then light brown.  When they are ready for removal, use tongs and rapidly wrap them around the waffle cone mold (will be hot, expect burnt fingers, even using a pastry cloth...sometimes you HAVE to use your fingers to make it a tight roll).  HOLD mold in position, pressing on the seam of the waffle cone against the counter for 1 minute until it has dried in place.
